In the introductory meeting with the young person, you will be invited to create a mentoring agreement together. This will involve discussing each area below to agree on on what feels possible and preferred for you both. You might like to read and reflect on your initial thoughts and ideas about what you would like to be reflected in the mentoring agreement. There is a copy of this page in the young person’s workbook. After completing the agreement with the young person, it will be important for you both to keep a completed copy. It will be important to review the agreement together regularly, you can discuss and make changes together as you go along.
